Person-Centred Therapist

You don't have to have all the answers to take the first step…

Whether you choose to meet in person or online, our sessions are centred around you, your experiences and what feels important to you.

It is up to you what you wanting bring to the sessions. With Person-Centred Therapy, the time is client-led, meaning that you are in control of what is you’d like to bring during our time together.

How do the sessions work?

In Person

Meet with me in person in a calm, comfortable studio in Prestwich. Having a dedicated space away from everyday distractions can give you the opportunity to slow down, reflect and focus on yourself.

Virtual

Online sessions offer a flexible way to access counselling from the comfort of your own surroundings. Whether you're at home or in another suitable private space, you can make time for yourself without the need to travel.

Prestwich, North Manchester M25

My studio in Prestwich offers a peaceful environment to help you feel as comfortable as possible during sessions.

During our time together I want the space to feel safe for you, as it is important that you feel physically at ease at times when it may be difficult emotionally.

Your questions, answered.

What is person-centred therapy?

1

Person-centred therapy is an approach that puts you at the heart of the process. Rather than following a set agenda, sessions are guided by you, giving you the freedom to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, in a supportive and non-judgemental environment.

Do I need to know what I want to talk about?

2

Not at all. You don't need to prepare anything or have a specific goal in mind before starting counselling. Whether you have something particular on your mind or simply need space to talk, we can start wherever you feel comfortable.

Do you offer online and in-person sessions?

3

Yes. I offer face-to-face counselling in Prestwich, North Manchester, as well as online sessions. You can choose whichever option feels most comfortable and convenient for you.

What happens when I first get in touch?

4

Getting in touch is simply an opportunity to ask questions, tell me a little about what you're looking for and find out more about how I work. There's no pressure or obligation to commit to counselling until you’re ready.

Let's start with a conversation.

Taking the first step towards counselling can sometimes feel daunting, especially if you're unsure where to begin.

You don't need to have the right words or know exactly what you need. Getting in touch is simply an opportunity to ask questions, learn more about my approach and decide whether counselling with me feels right for you.

Whenever you're ready, I'd love to hear from you.
